HEY FRIENDS, MY NAME IS KAYLEE.

I’m a beloved daughter of God who is striving daily–and most days epically failing–at finding my identity in Him alone, not in what I do. I enjoy laughing, being outside, awkward dancing, and seeking adventures. I constantly fall into the habit of telling God no when He asks big things of me. I have to laugh because once I give my yes, divine providence always pulls through as God shows how His plans are better than mine.

I was born and raised in a small town in Kentucky, but Jesus called me to be His missionary on college campuses for three years which led me to Florida. This was one of those instances I said no to His call at first but once I said yes, He moved me out of my comfort zone and helped me rely on Him for everything. And eventually, He led me right into meeting my husband, Matthew. We have been married since September 2018 and are still figuring out this whole newlywed life. While most people make one life change at a time, I ended my job, planned a wedding, officially moved to Florida, and started two new jobs all within four months. While life is kind of calming down, I feel as though the season of transition is still ongoing.

In 2015, I graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Organizational Communication and Nonprofit Leadership. I became a FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) missionary for three years and now I work full-time as a professional baby-snuggler and diaper-changer, also known as #nannylife. I am passionate about helping people know the truth about who they are and their health, even though I have no background in medicine. This desire has led me into teaching the Creighton Model of Natural Family Planning part-time and helping on the leadership team of my young adult group.

When I’m not babysitting or teaching someone about their fertility, I enjoy indulging in a delicious cup of coffee or a latte. I dream of one day being able run my own coffee shop, although I have no clue how to run a business or make a latte. I greatly enjoy spending time learning about the lives of the Saints and trying new active hobbies with my husband such as working out or surfing. We love to beach it up, explore hipster markets, and find the best food in town or cook up a storm.

I’m so excited to be able to share my heart with you all through this ministry team. My hope is through sharing my life vulnerably, I will be able to grow in my own relationship with Christ and challenge you all to do the same. I wish we could meet in this life over a cup of coffee, but even more so I hope to see you in Heaven. Let’s keep striving for Sainthood together—this journey wasn’t meant to be alone.

All my love,

Kaylee
